Branch Metrics Wins at Strictly Mobile!

Today, Branch Metrics was honored to attend Strictly Mobile — an invite-only summit with some of the leading minds and most innovative companies in mobile technology. The theme of the summit was the future of mobile computing and its effects on the world of tomorrow.

After some early networking and breakfast, we moved into the auditorium where the ceremony took place. Kevin Talbot, from Relay Ventures, took the stage for opening remarks. We then saw a presentation on Google’s self-driving car from Jennifer Haroon. Manish Kothari, of SRI International, shared his presentation titled Manipulation: The Next Frontier in Mobility , as a preview of the future of robotics. Next, Paola Santana, of Matternet.us, graced the stage with her piece called The Case for Autonomous Transportation. It highlighted her experience using drones while working with Doctors Without Borders to deliver medicine to remote areas. Last but not least was Bob Richards, of Moon Express , who shared his progress designing rockets and spacecrafts for moon travel.

However, the highlight of the morning for us was accepting the Strictly Mobile Innovation Award. Strictly Mobile credited Branch with building innovative tools that have the potential to completely change the mobile experience, adding, “these guys are one to watch”. Our CEO, Alex Austin, took the stage to accept the award.

On behalf of the Branch Metrics team, we want to thank Strictly Mobile and Relay Ventures for hosting an amazing event and recognizing our work. There are more great things to come!
