Here at Branch, we recently announced the launch of Universal Ads, which includes an updated integration with AdWords! We now automatically pull your Universal App Campaign conversion data via an official Google API, providing you with best-in-class attribution and measurement.
If you currently track Google Adwords ads with Branch, then read on to learn what to expect with the new integration, and how to enable it. This new integration enables you to track all of your Universal App Campaigns, as well as automatically send all in-app events back to AdWords. From there, you’ll be able to optimize and target UACs using in-app events.
If you plan to continue measuring Universal App Campaign performance with Branch after April 30th, 2018, you must enable the new API integration. It only takes a few minutes, and you’ll start seeing more accurate attribution data immediately. To get started, please visit our AdWords Migration Guide. Please note: this upgrade only applies to Universal App Campaigns. If you are embedding Branch links directly into Display and Search campaigns, no action is required.
